WATER ISSUES

The AWA Members Water Issues Committee meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month, from 7:30 – 9:00 a.m., at Nordman, Cormany, Hair & Compton’s 6th Floor Conference Room – 1000 Town Center Drive – Oxnard.
( The Committee is dark during the months of April, August and December)

RECYCLED WATER SUBCOMMITTEE

The Recycled Water Subcommittee is coordinated and activated under the umbrella of the Water Issues Committee. Past activites include quarterly workshops, study sessions, conferences and subcommittee meetings.  

Currently (as of February 4, 2010) the subcommittee activity has been redirected under the monthly Water Issues Committee meetings where standing reports are given.

Charge Action

• Assist in conflict mediation whenever possible: Agency to Agency, Area to Area
• Consensus Building—Gather consensus to promote a united position and have greater impact when appropriate.
• Legislative Input – Unification of positions when appropriate—use AWA as forum to generate synergy.
